Dear Friends,
As intellectual Atheists (or Theists) of this society, are you worried that the world is politically moving towards “The Rightist” ideologies and losing humanism…? Not to worry, it might perhaps be due to our ignorance or lack of analytical knowledge that made this mess-up…!?
Broadly speaking, there were only three social dimensions based on which the society has evolved for hundreds of years now, and ended up with today’s state of affairs across the world.
They are, (one) “Authoritarianism (Dictatorship), Democratism (Self-government) and in-between”, (two) “Capitalism (The Right), Communism (The Left) and in-between”, and (three) “Theism (Believing), Atheism (Non-believing) and in-between”.
Certainly, all these social binaries (dimensions) failed humanity, maybe, because they are either inadequate to address all the issues before humankind or they are merely incompetent due to lack of scientific backing…!?
Here comes, the fourth and final social dimension called “Materialism, Non-Materialism and in-between”, which cuts across the other three social dimensions and provides a perfect solution to humanity, backed by scientific facts…!

An obvious thing escaped the attention of the Scientists or the Physicists and the Mathematicians in particular for hundreds of years now…?!
We all know that, unlike Classical Physics, the extremities of the fundamental constituents (of the Universe), namely “Energy/mass”, “Space” and “Time” are dealt with by the two branches of Modern Physics called, Quantum Physics(QP) and the General Theory of Relativity(GTR).
If QP handles a constituent with zero measure, the GTR will handle the same with infinite measure and if QP handles it with infinite measure GTR will handle it with zero measure. The relationship between QP and GTR are not negatively opposite. They are inversely opposite…?!
If QP realizes very small (near zero) “energy/mass”, it would imply very big (near infinite) “energy/mass” for GTR to realize. If very small (near zero) “space” is realized by GTR, very big (near infinite) “space” would be realized by QP. Also, if very small (near zero) “time-rate” is realized by GTR, very big (near infinite) “time-rate” would be realized by QP.

Mini-Abstract
“Theory of Grand Settlement” is a new Theory of Everything (TOE) that brings out a fundamental change in the cosmological understanding of the Universe.
Gravity, Space-Time and Origin of the Universe are all redefined. The origin is stretched back to an event infinitely past-pont in tme and the end to an event infinitely future-point in time with respect to a given (finite) rate of time-flow.
It resolves the issues around Big Bang, Cosmic Inflation/ Expansion, Dark Energy, Dark Matter, Matter-Antimatter Asymmetry, Mass Defect and Homogeneity, Isotropy and Flatness properties of the Universe.
Quantum weirdness like Uncertainty, Wave-Particle Duality, Entanglement, etc. is all better explained. It claims that there is a fundamental space called, “Absolute Empty Space”, accommodating both “Zero” and “Infinity” within itself.
It replaces Space-time with Energy-space-time and explains the curving of space-time around energy bodies as a characteristic of the energy-space-time structure around them.
In the old scheme of things, most of the physical (including quantum-physical and astrophysical) phenomena were initially conjectured, hypothesized, mathematised and then experimentally verified.
The “Theory of Grand Settlement” now gives a new set of hypotheses, keeping the mathematics and the experimental observations, almost the same. Surprisingly, this new theory resolves a lot of hitherto unsolved physical and astrophysical issues, paving the way for a new “Theory of Everything”.

Abstract
(1) Like the other life-forms, for humankind also, the primary objective was only to accomplish the nature-based survival. Survival includes reproduction too.
(2) Like the other life-forms, initially, humankind also would have adopted minimum techniques for seeking food and partners for procreation.
(3) Being at the top of the intelligence ladder, humankind must have ventured for different improved techniques for better survival.
(4) In this process, humankind must have inadvertently misadventured into an area called, “Materialism” which he saw accomplishing the objective of survival and reproduction.
(5) For him, the “Material Parameters” were Wealth, Knowledge, Beauty, Physical Strength, Fame, Social Status, Act of Sex, Life-Longevity, etc. And, “Materialism” was the belief that gains in these material parameters were true and something to be proud of.
(6) The materialistic parameters are quantifiable and hence their discriminative gaining must have kindled cutthroat competition among humanity, paving the way for all sorts of social evils.
(7) Materialism was the “First Faith” of humankind and made them lead a materialistic (“First Face”) life-style. Materialism while making humanity to pursue itself unscrupulously made them worry about the unachievables too. Fear of the unknown in the materialistic arena made the humankind find solace in man-made Gods with different spiritual paths and religions.
(8) Humankind entered into a vicious cycle of God-believing leading to Material-gaining and Material-craving leading to God-believing.
(9) Humankind tried to address the evil implications of materialism through activities of different socio-politico dimensions, which we may call as the “First Freedom” movements.
(10) Broadly, there were three social dimensions; (one) “Authoritarianism, Democratism and in-between”, (two) “Capitalism, Socialism (Communism) and in-between” and (three) “Theism (Spiritualism), Atheism and in-between”.
(11) After hundreds of years of evolution through these social dimensions, the humankind has ended up with today’s state of affairs (across the world), which, being now in a mess of problems, struggles to find a way out.
(12) Certainly these social binaries (dimensions) failed humanity, maybe, because they are either inadequate to address all the issues before humankind or they are merely incompetent, due to lack of scientific backing.
(13) Here comes the Second Religion and proposes the fourth and final social dimension called, “Materialism, Non-materialism and in-between”, which cuts across the other three social dimensions and provides a better solution, backed by scientific facts.
(14) The Second Religion comes out with three chapters; (one) “The Second Face”, which explains how a typical human being is put to emotional sufferings, even when he is well placed socially, financially and intellectually, in this materialistic world, (two) “The Second Faith”, which elucidates scientifically that “Non-materialism” is true and “Materialism” is untrue, and (three) “The Second Freedom”, which explains how peace and harmony would prevail across the world, had the humanity enforced “Non-materialism”, rejecting “Materialism”.
(15) Here, the “Second Faith” being the heartbeat of the “Second Religion” requires a special emphasis. It comes out with three postulates. The first postulate proves that materialism had entered human life just inadvertently.
The second postulate proves that the quantitative discriminations based on gains in material parameters are meaningless because anything finite (achievable) with respect to infinite (scope of material parameters), is nothing. Yes, any finite value divided by Infinity equals to zero.
The third postulate proves that the role of almighty, the ultimate authority of material gains to humankind is irrelevant. It establishes that a new phenomenon called, “ERS Gravity” is only responsible for everything in the Universe. This third postulate also comes out with a new model of cosmology called, “White Singularity- Black Singularity (WS-BS) Model” paving the way for a new theory of everything namely, “Theory of Grand Settlement”.
(16) Thus, the fourth social dimension when pursued along with the “Second Religion” makes “Materialism” find its way out and “Non-materialism” to stay. Yes, the Second Faith while making materialism wither away, paves the way for the “Second (Ultimate) Freedom” to humanity, through non-materialism.
(17) The Second Religion does not wage war against the First Religion (First Faith) candidates, namely, “Authoritarianism vs Democratism”, “Capitalism vs Socialism” or “Theism vs Atheism”. It does not even oppose them. It rather makes them ineffective and insignificant before “Non-materialism”, through science.
(18) The Second Religion puts before humankind, the truth of the “Universal Non-materialism”. To start with, it asks for pursuing it, as an alternate (the second) religion to the (failed) First Religion, which has hitherto been pursuing materialism, through old social dimensions.
(19) So, the world can achieve “Peace and Harmony” only when everyone ignores materialism and enforces non-materialism, irrespective of his being an Authoritarian, a Democratic, a Capitalist, a Socialist, a Theist, or an Atheist. Yes, only the “Second Religion Realized (SRR)” humanity can ensure peace in the individual, family, community, country and global levels.
(20) Since truth based on science has to prevail forever, the “Universal Non-materialism” of the Second Religion, taking the whole humankind into confidence, will triumph ultimately and stay with the humanity, over every other beliefs and practice, evolved so far and now in vogue.

There is a paradigm shift in our understanding of physical and astrophysical science of the Universe…?!
A hundred years back it was conjectured and theorized that the Universe began from a single primordial atom. The idea was well received and substantiated then, through Edwin Hubble’s observations too. But, this “Big Bang model” with a definite beginning from an event,13.8 billion years back in time, is not popular anymore…!?

“Cosmic Inflation” is no more relevant in the Astrophysical Science…!? The recently observed “Homogeneity”, “Flatness” and “Non-availability of Magnetic Monopoles”, across the Universe are even otherwise justified…!

Einstein’s “Special Theory of Relativity” is true. But the inference that the Velocity Addition Formula, for the light, is invalid is not true, anymore…?!
Einstein corrected “Newtonian Gravity” and came out with the theory of general relativity that brought out the “Einsteinian Gravity”. Now comes a new concept of gravity called, “ERS Gravity” that completes the Einsteinian Gravity…!?
“Standard Model of Physics” required four fundamental forces, to address all the interactions and dynamisms of the Universe. But, now it is established that there is only one phenomenon called, “ERS Gravity” that is responsible for everything, including the four fundamental forces of the Universe…!?
“Weirdness of the Quantum World” like Uncertainty, Wave-particle duality, Entanglement etc. is no more a puzzle of physics…!? They are very much justified from the perspective of Classical World…?!
And finally come the fundamental questions, “Why this Universe?! Any grand purpose…?!” Yes, questions like this have become more relevant and legitimate…?! Could today’s physical and astrophysical sciences find answers to them…?!
It also leads to further questions from the perspective of humanism. Why, unlike other life-forms of the Universe, humanity alone caught in the web of materialism? Can there be a special reason for humanity’s materialism? Is humanity’s materialism against World Peace…?! Is humanity’s materialism the cause of terrorism? Is humanity’s materialism the cause of Global Warming…?! Do religions breed materialism? Do religions, being the cause of materialism and all materialistic evils of human society, find shelters in the failures of science…?! Can science really fail…?!

Abstract
“Theory of Grand Settlement” is a new Theory of Everything (TOE) that brings out a fundamental change in the cosmological understanding of the Universe. It replaces the existing Big Bang Model with a new cosmological model called, “White Singularity-Black Singularity (WS-BS) Model”.
The present form of gravity is replaced with a new phenomenon called, “Energy Rejecting Space (ERS) Gravity”. Einstein’s “Space-Time” is replaced with “Energy-Space-Time” and curving of space-time around energy bodies becomes a characteristic of the energy-space-time structure around them.
It claims that there is a fundamental space called, “Absolute Empty Space”, which accommodates both “Zero” and “Infinity” within itself. That means, for a finite entity (or an observer) of the Universe, the absolute empty space becomes infinite when it is explored and becomes a point (nothing) when it is not.
The mass-less energy (Light-Photon) components spread instantaneously in the absolute empty space, resulting in an infinite speed of light with an infinite rate of time-flow with respect to any observer, whose rate of time-flow is finite. At the same time, the speed-ratio of light is maintained at the constant “c”, with respect to the local rate of time-flow, everywhere.
Quantum world or Sub-Atomic World is a region which interfaces the Classical world with Absolute Empty Space. Hence there, the speed of light becomes super-luminal with a higher rate of time-flow, as we observe from the classical world. Because of this super-luminal nature of the light, the sub-atomic particles appear to be present in multiple locations of the quantum world, same time. And, this explains the Quantum Weirdness like Uncertainty, Wave-particle duality, Entanglement etc.
As far as the origin of the Universe is concerned, it is an event infinitely past in time, with respect to our local (finite) flow of time, since an exponential function of time (e^t) assumes zero value, only when “t” is negative infinity. Also, as per this new model, every energy component of this universe is the anti-energy component of the remaining energy components, put together. Hence, the “Matter-Antimatter Asymmetry” issue doesn’t arise too.
As far as the end of the Universe is concerned, it would be an infinitely future point in time with respect to our local (finite) flow of time at a “hypothetical endpoint” in space, beyond all black holes. It is here, the sequence of mergers of cosmological bodies like Black Holes, Super Massive Black Holes etc. within galaxies and further within and among the local groups, would hypothetically find an end. But the Universe would survive forever, as there is no scope for stopping the in-flow of energy into the Universe from the point (absolute empty space) of origin.

Dear Friends,
As intellectuals of this society, are you worried that the world is politically moving towards “The Rightist” ideologies and losing humanism…? Not to worry, it might perhaps be due to our ignorance or lack of analytical knowledge that made this mess-up…!?
Broadly speaking, there were only three social dimensions based on which the society has evolved for hundreds of years now, and ended up with today’s state of affairs across the world.
They are, (one) “Authoritarianism (Dictatorship), Democratism (Self-government) and in-between”, (two) “Capitalism (The Right), Communism (The Left) and in-between”, and (three) “Theism (Believing), Atheism (Non-believing) and in-between”.
Certainly, all these social binaries (dimensions) failed humanity, maybe, because they are either inadequate to address all the issues before humankind or they are merely incompetent due to lack of scientific backing…!?
Here comes, the fourth and final social dimension called “Materialism, Non-Materialism and in-between”, which cuts across the other three social dimensions and provides a perfect solution to humanity, backed by scientific facts…!

Dear Friends,
Perhaps, I am repeatedly emphasizing it.
If you ask me, “What is your first language”, I would say proudly, “My first language is my mother (or father) tongue, that is Tamil”. Likewise, people may say the names of their mother tongue depending upon, where they came from or where they belong to.
And if you ask me, “What is your second language”, I would say, “My second language is English”, as it is one of the important link languages of the world that serves the purpose of interaction and communication among humankind.
Now, if you ask me, “What is your first religion”, I would immediately say, “My first religion is my mother (or father) religion, that is Hindu”. Likewise, people may say the names of their mother religion depending upon what religions (including atheism) they practice or follow.
If you ask me, “What is your second religion”, I would want to say the name of a religion…(?), that must be rational and universally acceptable to every human on this earth and ensure love, peace and harmony among humanity of the whole world.
Yes, I would certainly name the one as my Second Religion if it addresses the ever-growing issues, that are before humanity, as a whole.
But to my understanding, the world hasn’t thus far found one yet. It hasn’t even so far found any means or ways which can resolve the following issues, that no more can wait, but require a permanent resolution right away now.
(1) Socially, economically and even intellectually though well placed or not, humans are invariably subjected to emotional sufferings.
(2) Nature has enough resources but nothing more than the basic needs of all its living organisms, that includes humans too.
(3) Nature permits humans to enjoy its resources to the extent of their adequate(minimum) requirements, like, unadulterated(nature-based) food, environment-friendly clothes, eco-friendly shelters and finally and optionally a partner from the “No Craving No Priding World”, for Love-making and/or for Procreation.
(4) Pressing Issues, like, Overpopulation, Over-consumption of Natural resources and Global Warming / Climate Change, are to be addressed immediately.
(5) Issues of Gender Inequality, Rights of LGBTQ Community and Rights of Differently Abled Humans require a wholehearted approach.
(6) Poverty Alleviation, Lifestyle Diseases, Pandemic Diseases, Malnutrition and Ageing-Population Issues.
(7) Human settlements problems, like, Undue Urbanization, Slum Dwelling, Migration and displacement issues.
(8) Limitless (unchecked) Economic Growth, Uneven Distribution of Resources and issues of Social Equity among Humanity.
(9) World Peace, Disarmament, Hesitation to address Cause of Terrorism and Erasing of “Might is Right Borders” of the Nations and States.
(10) Fear of Unknown of the Universe that leads to God-Believing and in turn to evils of Believing Systems.
(11) Puzzles of Science that require thorough redefinitions, like, Gravity and it’s integration with the other Fundamental Forces, Quantum Physics Mysteries, Big Bang Origin of the Universe, Constancy of Speed of Light, Energy Space-Time Structure, Matter-Antimatter Equilibrium, Amalgamation of Zero and Infinity into Absolute Empty Space, Einstein’s Dream of Unified Theory of Everything, Justification of Darwinian’s Natural Selection of all Living Organisms in the micro-level and Cosmic Natural Selection of all Astronomical Bodies of the Universe at the macro level.
(12) Finding an end to Present Day Capitalism which breeds Materialism.
(13) Finding an end to Present Day Religious and Spiritual Systems which also breed Materialism.
(14) Finding an end to Present Day Socialism and Communism which incidentally accept and encourage Materialism.
(15) And finally to establish an alternate path or system, based on and guided by the “Absolute-Scientific Truth of the Universe”, which can stand the scrutiny of all sections of human society and pave the way, that essentially resolves all the above.
And to that effect, I would humbly propose one, and that is “Universal Mon-Materialism”. Yes, the “Universal Non-Materialism”, as defined and scientifically elucidated by “The Second Religion” through its “The Second Faith” and “The Second Freedom” is the one that provides the answer to every one of the above and I shall call the same, as my Second Religion.

There is no Mystical or Illogical or Godly intervention in the entire Cosmological Evolution of Natural Selection, which includes Darwinian’s evolution of all life forms, since inception of this Universe.
