Author’s Note

“The Second Religion”, being the first edition is released in its original form, with one chapter written in an Indian native language, Tamil and two chapters in English. The first chapter namely, The Second Face is a story of a typical South Indian Tamil youth. To make the reader better relate to him and to better understand the emotional part of his life, it was written in his mother tongue, Tamil.

Whereas the remaining two chapters that were written in English are the real game-changer for the entire humanity, as claimed in the cover page itself. So, the readers who find the inconvenience with Tamil may kindly skip the Chapter:1 and follow the sequence, “Introduction, Chapter:2 (The Second Faith) and Chapter:3 (The Second Freedom)”.

Introduction

The author finds a typical character, the hero, who happens to suffer emotionally and at the same time, is forced to live a happy and peaceful life. Yes, a life with The First Face, which means the life of a typical person of this material world, that is otherwise called, the First Religion era. The hero, being a middle-class Tamil boy grows up, gets educated and gets employed. He encounters crushes and falls in love too. Cut-throat materialism plays its role; he is forced to quit his love-emotions and to enter into a typically arranged marriage life. He learns more, earns more and lives sufficiently simple.

He later comes to know that he was betrayed in his love-affair cum arranged-marriage. He finds a sudden full stop. He laments and grieves. He then slowly regains from his pain. Now comes his second face. He writes his own story in his mother tongue, Tamil, titled, “The Second Face” to vent out his grief.

He realizes that the problem is not with the betrayers. Or for that matter, the issues are not generally with the persons who commit crimes. It is with the present-day material system, the First Faith, that accepts and promotes materialism and even seeks the help of the mighty, “The God” for supporting the same. The First Freedom brought in religions, ideologies, and other socio-political systems to resolve it, but they ended in vain.

He, now thoroughly analyses and gets to the roots of the problems and comes out with a theory based on truth, called, “The Second Faith”. He identifies three causes for the uprising of materialism in this world and for which he comes out with corresponding three postulates that find scientific and intellectual answers. He brings in the fundamental concepts called, “The Zero” and “The Infinity” and points out its misuse by materialism and at the same time, its legitimate use by non-materialism.

He redefines “Gravity”, “Speed of Light”, “Quantum Physics”, “Absolute Empty Space”, “Energy Space-Time”, “Life Cycle of the Universe”, “Universal Natural Selection” etc., leading to a new “Theory of Everything” that brings out the “Absolute Truth”. He negates both Big Bang and Big Crunch theories. He, at the same time, answers Einstein’s dream of Unified Theory. He establishes that gravity is the cause of everything in this universe, which includes the other three fundamental forces of nature, viz: Electromagnetic Force, Strong Nuclear Force and Weak Nuclear Force. He leaves everything to the act of the capital letter, “G” which incidentally expands not to “God” but to “Gravity”. Yes, he rejects materialism and enforces non-materialism.

And eventually, he comes out with a master plan. He superimposes the principles of the Second Faith on all religions, all ideologies and all political systems that exist now on earth. He brings out the ultimate freedom to humanity, that he calls, “The Second Freedom” of “The Second Religion”.

PROLOGUE:

The Second Religion through this “The Second Freedom” chapter, comes out with a concept of ultimate freedom to humanity, which hitherto faced with socially, economically, politically, spiritually, scientifically and even cosmologically unresolved problems and issues in the First Religion era.

WHAT THE FIRST RELIGION IS:

(1) The idea of The First Religion emanates from the combination of “The First Face”, “The First Faith” and “The First Freedom”. In other words, the First Religion simply refers to all those beliefs and practices, so far evolved, sustained and now in vogue among humanity which includes believers and non-believers of different faiths and principles.

The First Face – It is the true nature of the life of an individual human being who lives in a society which believes in and practices The First Faith.

The First Faith It is the belief of humankind that discriminatory material gains of life parameters like wealth, knowledge, beauty, fame, status, life-longevity, the act of sex etc. are real and relevant in one’s life, irrespective of his being a theist, a rationalist, an atheist, an agnostic or even being a communist, a socialist, a capitalist etc. Here theists have an additional setback of falling into a vicious circle of material gains leading to god believing and god believing leading to material gains. They also invariably believe in mysticism and mystical events.

The First Freedom – The preachings of religions through holy books like, The Vedas, The Bible, The Quran, The Sutras, The Tanach etc., prayers and sermons of religious preceptors and teachings and practices of spiritual gurus are some of the social remedies that attempted to free the humanity from the social evils that were prevalent in the society. Evolution of socio-political ideologies like egalitarianism, fascism, communism, capitalism, Marxism, democracy, socialism and rationalism is another form of social remedy that also tried and attempted to free the humanity, irrespective of the society being the one with believers, non-believers or rationalists.

FAILURE OF THE FIRST RELIGION:

(2) The belief of material discriminations, belief in a godly entity and belief in mysticism, as acknowledged by the First Faith had only been the root causes of all social evils both in the individual level and in the social level. Social evils include Enmity, Dishonesty, Betrayal, Fraud, Murder, Rape, Adultery and other forms of Heinous Crimes in the micro-level and Terrorism, Global warming, Arms race, Border disputes and other international conflicts in the macro level.

(3) The preachings of religious Holy Books and that of the religious and spiritual Gurus and Preceptors could not succeed in curbing these social evils. Socio-political ideologies like Egalitarianism, Communism, Capitalism, Democracy, Rationalism and Socialism also could not provide a viable solution to this problem.

(4) Now that these social evils are increasing day by day and that there seems to be no scope for a decline in its trend, the attempts of the First Religion, made all these years through its First Freedom, have proved to be a Great Failure.

RELEVANCE OF THE SECOND RELIGION:

(5) To achieve a society bereft of all these social evils, it requires a thorough review of almost everything that had happened so far in humanity. Instead of hiding the actual truth and at the same time making the human kind behave forcibly with fear of social, spiritual and physical consequences, it is all the better to be scientific, open, truthful and transparent and make the humanity realize the “Absolute Truth”, as envisaged here in this book of ‘The Second Religion’, through its three chapters.

(6) ‘The Second Face’ is the first chapter, cites a typical example by narrating the life of an individual, who is put to suffer emotionally with the social evil of betrayal in the hands of this materialistic social system.

(7) ‘The Second Faith’ is the second chapter, advocates and makes the humanity realize one: that the human species also is one among the life forms of the planet earth and that its objective of achieving survival and reproduction was knowingly or unknowingly leapt into achieving material gains of life parameters namely, wealth, knowledge, beauty, fame, social status, life-longevity etc., which indirectly accomplish the original objective of survival and reproduction, two: that these material gains are quantifiable and always the achieved becomes nothing (zero) when compared to the scope, which is infinite and three: that the humankind is trapped in the vicious cycle of “belief in material gains leading to god believing and god believing leading to belief in material gains”, which is once for all demolished by establishing irrelevance of Godly Entity through a new scientific “Theory of Everything”.

(8) ‘The Second Freedom’ is the third chapter, is the direct consequence of the principles of  ‘The Second Faith’, which makes the humanity realize the ‘Absolute Truth’ that craving for material gains is a meaningless social venture. It brings out and thereby provides for the ‘Ultimate Freedom’ to humankind, which was hitherto in the mess of First Religion era.

FREEDOM FROM MATERIALISM: THE SECOND FREEDOM: 

(9) Materialism is redefined as the dynamic human venture for enhancing all life parameters, namely Wealth, Knowledge, Beauty, Act of sex, Life-longevity, Social status, Fame etc. The Second Faith, through its three postulates, thoroughly explains and makes the humankind realize that these life parameters assume zero value.

(10) The social evils namely, Organized crime, Robbery, Theft, Assault, Betrayal, Cheating, Murder, Trafficking, Extortion, Kidnapping, Rape, Greed, Drugs & Alcohol, Prostitution, Female infanticide, Domestic violence etc. in the micro-level and Climate change, Global warming, Terrorism, Racism, Inequality, Border disputes, Religious conflicts, Wars etc. in the macro level, which has hence been born out of the false belief of human society about amassing material life parameters by any means, are the direct fallout of the discriminatory materialism

(11) It is the lack of realization that materialism is meaningless and that it assumes no value, has allowed individuals first to become materialistic and then followed groups, communities and countries. Hence the Second Religion fundamentally seeks freedom from materialism first at the individual level, which will enable the same further at the community, state, country and global levels too.

(12) Thus, the realization of the humankind that Selfish Materialism is fake and untrue provides ultimate freedom to humanity as a whole. It provides for freedom in every area of human life like Survival and Reproduction, Love and Affection, Safety and Security, Health and Longevity, Language and Culture, Wealth and Natural Resources, Science and Knowledge, Religion and Spiritualism, Fame and Beauty etc., on an evil-free social platform.

FREEDOM OF SURVIVAL AND REPRODUCTION:

(13) Like other living creatures of this planet earth, humankind also deserves to have nature-based, Air, Water, Food, Shelter and Self defence as the basic needs to survive.  But materialism misplaced the priorities. Instead of putting maximum effort to provide the whole humanity with quality basic needs, humankind concentrated and started putting its full energy on discriminated selfish materialism. Undue importance was given to amassing all materialistic life parameters. Under the guise of development, we are going far away from providing quality basic needs, essentially to the entire population of the world. No one knows what could, the correct and true definition of (human) development be.

(14) Minus materialism, humanity can easily achieve Fresh air, Pure water, Healthy food, Adequate shelter and Secured environment required for a quality survival. It is very much possible and sustainable too. It is materialism that is, Selfish Materialism that made these basic needs polluted, contaminated and less secured for an average human being on this earth. The quality of or the standard of survival for humanity, that is now in a complete mess, requires a thorough review in the non-materialistic perspective. Hence it is only the realization of humankind that selfish materialism is irrelevant and to summarily be rejected, can and will pave the way for mankind, the freedom of better survival.

(15) Like in the case of other living forms, the urge of reproduction being part of survival is a natural and gravitational (redefined) instinct for human beings too. It is also the natural and gravitational instinct of human mothers, that will take care of their newborn babies up to the stage of leaving them free to survive on their own. The society of non- materialism or selfless materialism will take them over and organize further. In the non-materialistic arena, reproduction will not be a mandatory requirement. Those who can reproduce and those who can not will all be dealt on par with each other. The reproductive capability will no more be a boon or privilege.

(16) Sex being part of the reproductive process is blown out of proportion in the materialistic world. Unnecessary exploration of sexual act, which is a never-ending phenomenon and of infinite scope, is the root cause of all sex-related evils that are prevalent in the materialistic society. Procreational instinct is a transitory sexual phenomenon in the non-materialistic world. Importance of sex will drastically be reduced in this new world. Man and woman may or may not be put to live together through the institution of marriage, may or may not have sex and may or may not reproduce. It does not make any difference. Ending and dissolving the institution of marriage will never be a misnomer. World population will very much be under control. Sex crimes, rapes, extramarital relationships, uncommon sexual practices and other sex-related diseases will all vanish away.

(17) Like other life-forms, human beings also have different sexual orientations ranging from heterosexual to asexual. Those who are non-heterosexual are identified as LGBTQ community, who can not normally reproduce but may have sexual instinct. Because that the sexual instinct of heterosexual (mainstream) community is unnecessarily and unduly explored, exploited and blown out of proportion in the materialistic society, it had a direct effect on the LGBTQ community too.

(18) Materialism being closed and rigid in sexual orientations accepts only heterosexuals. It rejects non-heterosexuals or LGBTQs. Countries which acknowledge and appreciate intellectual and rational approach towards all-inclusive humanity alone are changing their laws and making the population feel free and safe irrespective of their sexual orientations and identities. The remaining countries being more religious and at the same time, materialistic find it very difficult to allow non-heterosexuals and LGBTQs to exercise their sexual practices on par with the heterosexuals in a free and fair manner. Even in this issue, the ultimate solution or the ultimate freedom is to reject undue explorations and exploitations of human’s sexual instinct across the spectrum of society by rejecting materialism. Only then, excessive glamour over and abuse of sexual instincts will vanish, and the whole human community will be all-inclusive, uniform, non-discriminatory and peaceful as far as its sexual orientations are concerned.

FREEDOM OF SAFETY AND SECURITY:

(19) Security is one of the basic needs of human beings for survival. Like other living creatures, safety against predators was the prime concern of the humankind originally. Similarly, security from natural disasters was also a concern for him. Humanity, since its origin could successfully withstand these threats and survive with reasonably manageable efforts.

(20) The real threat for safety and security comes from only humanity itself, for which again the root cause is materialism. Selfish Materialism causes discriminations and differences among humankind. Only in achieving material gains, humankind resorts to cut-throat competitions and conflicts which leads to the insecurity of individuals, of families, of communities and countries.

(21) Minus materialism, the need for forces to control and organize the society with law and order will be negligible. Even the countries world over can coexist without expensive defence forces which eat away a significant portion of the world’s economy now. It will lead us to a world of harmonious humanity with borderless countries, that the whole humankind is dreaming for. Yes, the whole world will be a collection of beautiful villages with rich and self-sufficient resources for accomplishing the basic needs like adequate (organic) food, eco-friendly shelter, risk-free security and other human necessities.

FREEDOM OF HEALTH AND LONGEVITY:

(22) Other living beings of the planet earth have no problems on the issue of health and longevity. It is only human beings who suffer from the issue of health and longevity. Quality of Food and Lifestyle, being the cause for better health and longevity of humankind, were drastically affected by continuous pursual of materialism by humanity through ages.

(23) For a healthy living, human body demands pure (mineral) water and organic foods got through yields of natural cultivation. It rejects every artificial and chemical ingredients and processes that are used in the cultivation. The human body also needs adequate physical activity and only limited intake of food to maintain good health.

(24) Natural farming and nature-based (recyclable) housing that require more physical (human) activities are the two essential requirements for accomplishing the quality basic needs of human beings.

(25) Habits like abuse of liquor, drugs, tobacco, fast-foods, chunk foods etc. are other areas of concern for the health care of humanity. Undue materialism is only the root cause of all these abuses. The very availability of these anti-social ingredients in human society, itself is the direct consequence of the false belief of humanity on materialism.

(26) Also, as far as diseases and their remedies are concerned, humanity suffers from innumerable types of diseases, caused only by the materialistic lifestyle. The medical practices that are adopted to treat the patients are also highly commercial due to materialism. Like other living beings, if humans are also freed from the materialism, nature itself will take care of their well being.

(27) However in today’s context, as a principle of continuity, the present system of medical practices like Allopathy, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Sidha etc.  may be allowed to continue holistically in a non-materialistic way, subjected to scientific researches and multidisciplinary studies, until our lifestyle on its own becomes natural and eco-friendly.

FREEDOM OF LANGUAGE AND CULTURE:

(28) Originally humans were living in groups in different parts of the earth, almost in isolation. As a medium of communication within the groups, languages have evolved. These languages were the ‘First Language’ or the ‘Native Language’ or the ‘Mother Language’ of the humans of such groups.

(29) After the formation of countries and states, there were one or more than one language in each nation-state, spoken by different ethnic groups. In view of respecting each group, states have acknowledged different languages as their official languages. Some states or nations gave priority to the majority’s language over minorities’, which created unrest within the people of the same country too.

(30) Hence, it is a basic mandatory requirement to acknowledge the mother tongue or native tongue of any group, however small in size may be, as their first language, without imposing the majority’s language on them. Also, now that the world has become a single village, to establish communication among these groups, crossing the borders of countries, a second language is necessary. In finding and accepting the second language, the world community is expected to be more mature and generous. Without getting hijacked by any groups or states or countries, the second language can be chosen from the ones which are incidentally spoken by the majority of humans across the world.

(31) In the same way, while having chosen a second language as above for global communication, some nation-states are trying to establish a local language spoken by the majority of its population as its national language which is naturally a third language for the linguistic minorities of that country. While this third language is the Native Language or First Language for some sections of the people of the country, it becomes a language of an unnecessary burden to other sections of that country. The third language is thus used only to feed on to the materialistic ego of linguistic majorities of the countries, that unnecessarily ponder over such wasteful ventures.

(32) Non-materialism removes egoism among people of the countries and states. That means, discrimination and disparity among the people based on languages within the nations or states, which was hitherto enhanced by egoistic materialism and which was against the interest of humans at large, will vanish away in a non-materialistic environment.

(33) Thus, the First Language and the Second Language, as defined under the ‘Global Two Language Policy’ here are the two essential communication mediums, that accomplishes the freedom of languages for the humanity, world over in a Non-materialistic era.

(34) Similarly, culture is the way of life of different groups of people on this earth. Customs, beliefs, arts, laws, knowledge, capabilities, habits, behaviour, dressing styles of human societies determine their culture. Culture is acquired through the process of socialization and mutual learning within the groups. Culture, being a social behaviour among human societies, is an essential norm for humans to coexist and to achieve the fundamental objective of survival and reproduction.

(35) In the world of first religion, cultural habits of one group of people are either not accepted or ill-treated by other groups, claiming that one is superior to the other. This discrimination is directly or indirectly acknowledged, if not encouraged by this materialistic society too. This differentiation is many a time the root cause of unrest among societies too. It is only the realization through ‘The Second Faith’ that such discriminatory materialism is untrue and meaningless, can bring peace and harmony among societies. Yes, it is simply absurd to say that one culture is superior to the other in a non-materialistic system of humanity.

(36) The second religion thoroughly establishes a just society without discrimination based on cultural diversity. Every culture is admired with equal acceptance and respect in the non-materialistic society. The world consisting of different nation-states is fast becoming a single village. Intermingling and merging of different cultural societies with mutual love and respect are facilitated, encouraged and realized in the era of second religion.

FREEDOM OF LOVE AND AFFECTION:

(37)  Love and affection are interconnected human emotions. Affection is the first step towards love. Affection is kept in heart for someone while love speaks for itself. Love is like a deep, tender, undeniable feeling of affection. Also, love itself can be subdivided into ‘Loving Someone’ and ‘Being in Love with Someone’. These two are different things. One loves his or her family, mother, father and siblings. That means he or she does everything possible to facilitate the family members out of love. This love and (generally) the affection are both born and evolved partly out of establishing security among members of the group, like in the case of animals and other creatures. Falling in love with someone is completely different. When one adores the other and becomes part of his or her life, it is Falling in Love. It changes everything around oneself and makes him or her realize that the other person has no alternative. This love, along with infatuation, is born and evolved partly out of reproductive instinct in addition to establishing physical and social security.

(38) Generally, the combination of love and affection is a feeling of mental, emotional, physical and mystic attachment to a person. It is one of the material life parameters that human being continuously longs for and tries to attain and enhance in the present era of first religion. Yes, Love and Affection, in a way, found too much relevance in the present-day world. Love and affection, being a material gain are pursued by humanity with undue exploration, over a while, and thus it has reached this level of emotional intensity. It has even been a cause for social crimes like suicide, murder, rape, etc., across society.

(39) Love and affection, being a material life parameter of humankind, can essentially assume only zero value, as postulated in the Second Faith that advocates non-materialism. Yes, the Second Faith of the Second Religion neutralizes the cause of extreme emotions of Love and Affection, paving the way for Kind and Compassion. It creates a just and secured atmosphere everywhere. Sexual instincts, procreational acts and infatuational feelings are all brought down from a hyped state. Crimes related to love and affection vanish away.

FREEDOM OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND WEALTH:

(40) Natural Resources are those resources that occur in the universe, in their original forms without the intervention of humans. It can be classified into two categories, namely ‘Renewable Resources’ and ‘Non-renewable Resources’. Sunlight, Wind, Water, Plants, Animals etc. are renewable natural resources, which can be replenished naturally. Coal, Crude oil, Natural gas, Uranium etc. are non-renewable natural resources, which can not be replenished easily.

(41) Unlike renewable natural resources, non-renewable natural resources are limited and depletable. In recent times, humankind has been exhausting almost all non-renewable resources at a faster rate, and the earth is on the verge of losing their reserve completely.

(42) Use of fossil fuels creates environmental problems like global warming and climate change. Use of uranium for the production of nuclear energy creates safety-risk problems for humanity. Non-availability of renewable resources like wood, clean water, farmland, wind, fish etc. in specific regions of the earth will also create social problems among humanity there. Similarly, there is always scope for exploitation against poor countries by the resource (renewable or non-renewable) rich countries across the world. Here we must remember the fact that through forceful means of exploitation, a lesser number of humans are put to enjoy a greater share of natural resources available on the earth.

(43) Humans have to necessarily acknowledge that natural resources are limited and are required to be used judiciously. Also, humanity must realize that every human being on earth, irrespective of which country he or she belongs to, deserve equal stake over the whole (available) natural resources. But, this, is one of the selfish material gains for humanity, will always be searched for and be acquired, endlessly by humans world over. The world community is almost clueless in tackling this global issue. Essentially the Second Religion that unfolds non-materialism to humanity can provide for the ultimate solution to this problem.

(44) Wealth is one of the material gains, humankind craves ever to acquire, in the materialistic world. It was amassed by human only to achieve his basic objective of survival and reproduction, to start with. In due course of time, it got encouraged too much that it hugely ended up with capitalistic societies across the globe. Amassing wealth is an arguably manipulative action of humanity that humans somehow acquire it by hook and crook methods.

(45) This is the case with even different groups of people viz: families, communities, states and countries across the world. Undue amassing of wealth leads to fast depleting of natural resources without allowing it to replenish itself and thereby causing greater damage to humanity through climate change, deforestation, pollution of water and air, pollution of land, floods, droughts, earthquakes, undue urbanization with jungles of buildings etc.

(46) Countries across the world, being forced to compete with each other in the name of development, are caught in the war of economy and wealth creation. Thus, here too, it is only non-materialism that can provide the ultimate solution. The humans will behave responsibly, and everyone will be achieving his or her basic objective of survival without harming the earth. Countries governed by non-materialistic people will also become non-materialistic. Even such a society will control the population growth leading to controlled consumption of resources and controlled wealth creation.

FREEDOM OF SCIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

(47) Science is a system of studying nature without any motivated bias. It is more concerned with the physical world and its phenomena, that entails unbiased observations and experimentations. Science involves general truths and fundamental laws of the universe. It is a systematic enterprise that builds testable explanations and predictions.

(48) Science is commonly divided into three branches viz: Natural Science, Social Science and Formal Science. Natural Science is the study of nature, based on empirical evidence, such as Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy, Earth Science etc. Social Science is the study of human individuals, human society and their relationships. Anthropology, Economics, History, Linguistics and Sociology are some of the subjects under Social Science. Formal Science is the study of formal systems with abstract concepts without demanding empirical evidence. It includes Mathematics, Computer Science, System Theory, Calculus etc.

(49) Here, in all the above three branches, there will always be attempts of interference by myths, prejudices, false beliefs and vested interests of some sections of humans, which practices present-day materialistic First Religion. Political leaning towards both Right and Left are sometimes far less accepting of the evidence of science when it challenges their ideologies. But embracing science means acknowledging the evidence even when it goes against their accepted dogma. Theories of evolution like Natural Selection and Intelligent Design, conflicting ideas on Global Warming and Climate Change, theories on Origin of Universe and Origin of Life, rewriting of history with Political Bias, hidden agendas of the Ruling Dispensations on national issues are some of the examples of prejudices against the Freedom of Science.

(50) Thus, in all the above issues, one can find that non-materialism realized through ‘The Second Faith’ provides the ultimate solution and establishes the Freedom of Science. Science with absolute freedom can only accomplish the Absolute Truth, which will ultimately provide for better survival of humanity across the globe without discriminations and disparities.

(51) Knowledge is defined as the understanding of facts, pieces of information, descriptions and skills that are acquired through perceiving, discovering and learning. Knowledge can also be referred to as a theoretical and practical understanding of a subject. There are three types of knowledge viz: Physical Knowledge, Logical Knowledge and Social Knowledge. Physical Knowledge refers to the empirical properties of objects of nature. Logical Knowledge is mainly mathematical and invented through abstract thoughts and actions. Social Knowledge is learned through cultural interactions among humanity.

(52) Knowledge, in the materialistic First Religion world, is again susceptible to political, social and spiritual influences. There are countries in the world, which are still attempting to interfere with facts of its history to suit the ideologies of the ruling dispensation. Freedom of Research and thereby Freedom of Knowledge is unreasonably meddled with or restricted by institutional regulations, laws or public pressures. For Learners of Knowledge, the basic elements include the freedom to study any subjects that concern them and to form conclusions for themselves and express their opinions. Yes, knowledge is best advanced when the inquiry is free from restraints by the state, religion and other institutions or special interest groups. This can be achieved only by the non-materialism advocated through Second Faith of the Second Religion, where only truth will always prevail.

FREEDOM OF RELIGION AND SPIRITUALITY:

(53) Religion is generally defined as a set of beliefs concerning the purpose of the universe as created by a superhuman agency, The God and involving moral, ritual and devotional observances by a group of humans. Religion is an institutionalized system of attitudes and rules externally practised in the physical world by its followers. It is quite formal and nurtured and followed hereditarily by every member of the family of the followers, involved.

(54) Religion is a concept that is passed down from generation to generation. The people that raise a person have a greater influence on them than anyone else. A child only knows what it is taught. If the child is only taught that their religion is the correct religion, they will believe that only their religion is correct. Children acquire the concept of religion before they can even think for their own. They are told that there is a God and they don’t have the knowledge to question it, so they believe it. Ideas that are formed young typically have great influence throughout a person’s life.

(55) Around 75% of the world population is practising some religion or other. Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Judaism, Bahai, Confucianism, Taoism, Sikhism, Shinto and Zoroastrianism are some of the major religions being practised by people across the world. Interestingly at-least 25% of the world population belongs to the category of Non-believers, and they are not affiliated to any of these religions.

(56) These religions came into being since, at a maximum of 10000 years now. Hindu Religion, though claimed to be the oldest, is about 7000 years since it is incorporated. Though these religions had originated with noble objectives that if practised, social harmony would prevail, it raised more questions than answers. Yes, a huge proportion of evil things, occurred across the globe in these years, has been due to religious intolerance, religious conflicts and religious extremism. So essentially, the Second Religion, through its Second Faith that advocates non-materialism comes out with an ultimate solution to these materialistic evils of First Religion. The Second Religion, by offering itself, to every human on earth, as a standby (second) religion to follow, will transform everyone into a non-materialistic human being. Yes, the Second Religion provides for Freedom of Religion, rendering peace and harmony across the globe.

(57) Spirituality, about the present-day material world, is a way of life in which a person seeks to connect to the Divine Nature. Spirituality involves the belief in a higher form of consciousness that explores the intellectual aspects of one’s life and existence. Spirituality addresses the non-physical area of the universe and its existence. Spirituality is an inward journey that liberates oneself through its wisdom teachings.

(58) In the era of First Religion, human life is understood to be comprised of four levels of its existence viz: Body, Mind, Intellect and Soul. The first three levels viz: Body, Mind and Intellect are construed as physical and finite and are addressed by Spiritual Science through lower-order practices. The fourth level viz: Soul, being addressed through higher-order practices of the Spiritual Science, is non-physical and infinite. Thus, spirituality, being associated with the interior life of the individual, addresses its well-being through the concept called “Body -Mind -Spirit”, which it believes, makes one ultimately reach the subtle concept called “Divine Infinity”.

(59) Spirituality is more about inner understanding, whereas religion is about outer worship. Spirituality is subjective, formless, evolutionary, inclusive and loving, whereas formal religion is objective, organized, traditional, exclusive and fearful. Though there are noticeable distinctions between spirituality and religion, they are not absolute. Some people consider themselves spiritual but not religious. Conversely, there can be individuals who are devoutly religious but not deeply spiritual. Also, some people are both religious and spiritual.

(60) Off-late there is a growing trend among the believers not to identify with any religion but to identify as being spiritual in some way. Those who are critical of religion see it as rigid and pushy, leading them to be described as Atheist or Agnostic. Instead, they prefer to be a Spiritualist. These people are popularly known as SBNR (Spiritual But Not Religious) or SBNA (Spiritual But Not Affiliated). They are not just about rejecting religion outright, but not wanting to be restricted by it. They claim that a belief system (religion) is non-essential and that it is potentially harmful or at least a hindrance to the spiritualist. But even then they do not dissociate completely away from religion since they do not have a substantive ground on which their spiritualism can comfortably stand.

(61) Thus, in the materialistic First Religion era, it is the spirituality-part in the believing system, that has enabled religion, intellectually survive and sustain in the evolution of humanity. Or, the lifeline of religion has so far been residing in spirituality, which, as claimed, is about the higher-order truth viz: The Divine Truth or The Infinity. It implies that spirituality is put to suffer from the baggage of religion which is often seen with liabilities like, intolerance, conflicts, terrorism etc. But one can easily conclude that today’s spirituality has better scope in the Second Religion for seeking and exploring the ‘Absolute Truth’, in a more convincing way. Thus, ‘The Second Faith’, advocating non-materialism and being scientifically spiritual, unequivocally provides for the ultimate Freedom of Spirituality.

FREEDOM OF FAME AND BEAUTY:

(62) Fame is a state of being known by many people on account of achievements. Politics, Entertainment, Business, Sports and Science are the leading fields that contain the most famous people in the world. To name few of all time; Mahatma Gandhi (Politics), Sir Charlie Chaplin (Entertainment), Walt Disney (Business), Mohammed Ali (Sports), Albert Einstein (Science) are some of the famous people, popularly known by humankind in the recent history. Similarly, we can enumerate a host of famous personalities in today’s context across countries and the world as a whole.

(63) Though there were people who were selfless and who ascended to the top in their respective fields without adopting any manipulative means, today’s materialistic world behaves opposite. It pushes everyone to pursue some short-cut methods or others for achieving fame. In any field, It is imperative that in the process of mass venture, there will always be someone who will find a place at the top, at any point in time. It is a logical and statistical reality. But this material world gives undue justifications and privilege to that particular personality and starts hero-worshipping him. It is rather the responsibility of common people both to treat such personalities and to make them realize that they are one among the ordinary people.

(64) Acknowledging and glorifying fame has thus become an incurable disease of the materialistic First Religion era that the discriminations and disparities in the society could never be wiped out. Thus, essentially to make every human being feel that he or she is one among the equals, the present-day First Religion must be substituted with the Second Religion. The postulates of the Second Faith establish that any material gain (including Fame), how much soever one attains, is going to be finite and that it will become nothing with respect to its scope which is always infinite. Yes, the non-materialistic society of Second Faith makes everyone feel ordinary and equal and thereby makes everyone feel, self-empowered and self-confident.

(65) Beauty is defined as a combination of qualities such as shape, colour, form, voice (sound) or idea of a person, an animal, a thing or a place that pleases the aesthetic senses of an observer of this material world. It is subjective, universal and at the same time, relative and not absolute.

(66) The beauty of a person can be categorized into two broad terms viz: The Inner Beauty and Outer Beauty. The nature of a person is termed as inner beauty. It is not apparent and can not be seen. It resides inside the person, and it can only be felt and sensed. Kindheartedness, Simplicity, Pleasing Attitude, Being Compassionate and Intellectual Capacity are some of the qualities that determine one’s inner beauty. The outer beauty of a person focuses on his or her physical appearance or physical features viz: Shape, Colour, Height, Voice etc. Today’s society lays great emphasis on the outer beauty of people. People seem to run after things that, in actual, have no meaning at all.

(67) Present day’s materialistic society believes blindly in discriminations. It also believes in the distorted definition of beauty that brainwashes everyone and promotes outer beauty, which gives room for discriminations and at the same time, it never lasts long. Yes, people go on craving endlessly for enhancing their outer beauty by resorting to artificial and harmful techniques. There will never be a point when people are satisfied themselves. Also, as far as finding and enjoying beauty in external things is concerned, one can always find beauty in simple things everywhere in nature. One need not endlessly go on searching out somewhere else for the same. A natural water- stream next to a village in an eastern country can be more beautiful than the Niagara Falls, thousands of kilometres away in the west. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. To feel content with one’s physical beauty and with that of external things that he observes, he must realize that the level of satisfaction that can be attained will always be zero when compared to the scope which will always be infinite. Non-materialism advocated by the Second Religion, while enhancing one’s Inner Beauty, thoroughly rejects Outer Beauty. Yes, only in the era of Second Religion, craving for and going after outer beauty vanishes away, bringing down the social crimes like rape, adultery, suicide etc. There will not be any discriminations in the eyes of the beholder, irrespective of one being materialistically beautiful. Thus, the Second Religion, through the postulates of the Second Faith, provides for the ultimate Freedom of Beauty.

FREEDOM OF POLITICS AND ECONOMY:

(68) Politics is the set of activities that are associated with the governance of a Country, a State or an Area. It involves making decisions and organizing control over a human community. Politics is both art and science of governance. It is exercised in different social levels: from clans and villages to sub-states to sovereign states and further to the organizations at the international level. The political system consists of three basic components viz: Government Formation, Political Parties and Politicians.

(69) There are three types of government formation across the world viz: Authoritarianism, Monarchy and Democracy. Authoritarian government is formed by a set of elite leaders who handle all economic, military and foreign relations activities. Common people will have no representation and no power. It is otherwise called Dictatorship. Totalitarianism is the extreme form of authoritarianism, which control all aspects of life through the means of terror. Monarchy is a form of government controlled by a King or a Queen, who may work like a dictator or like a constitutional head, who works with limited powers given by an elected body. Democracy is a form of government in which the citizens have the authority through votes. Generally, there are two types of democracy in the world viz: Parliamentary Democracy (Example: India) and Presidential Democracy (Example: United States of America). The decision-making process in a democracy is through the concept of Majority Rule. The constitution in a democracy will limit the majority to enable protection of the minority.

(70) Political Party is an organization of people who have the same ideology and agenda. Political parties field their candidates for elections, and the elected members will have their say in government formation and in promoting their set agenda. The candidates of the opposition parties question the party in power and make them aware of the problems and issues before the common man and seek resolutions. There are three types of Party System across countries viz: One Party System (Example: China, Cuba), Two-Party System (Example: USA, UK) and Multi-Party System (Example: India, Germany).

(71) A politician is a person active in party politics. He may be a person either holding or seeking an office in the government or the party. Politicians propose, support and create laws or policies that govern the people. So, it is the role of politicians that determines a better political party, a better government and a better political system. But today’s politicians behave opposite. They make numerous promises to the people, and once they gain power, they turn their back on the public. They work for their selfish motives and keep fooling people in every election. Further, the majority of politicians being corrupt, abuse their power to advance their interest rather than that of the country. They ignore the overall development of the nation and hurt the essence of the country. Also, they sometimes hamper with the harmony of the country by their hidden agendas and ideologies. Had they been consciously honest and sincere, the countries they govern would live in peace and harmony and flourish manifold.

(72) Today’s materialistic society does not demand everyone, to be honest. Every human on earth is motivated by material gains. Ignoring everything, he wants to somehow attain wealth, status, power and fame through any means. He sees, politics is one such means. Though the present world is flooded with a lot of agencies that preach and promote morality among people, humans fail, because either those agencies are intellectually incompetent or humans are not ready to blindly believe in illogical and contradictory preachings. Corrupt politicians can lead only corrupt political parties, and corrupt political parties can form only corrupt governments. Thus politics is in desperate need of a change. The change must be based on hard truth that one will intellectually get convinced. It is here, where the Second Religion finds its place. The postulates of the Second Faith feed the intellect of everyone, logically that materialism is not true. It establishes that non-materialism can only achieve a society, free of material evils. Political system pursued by non-materialistic politicians will be pure, transparent, progressive and corruption-free, rendering the ultimate Freedom of Politics.

(73) The economy is a system of producing and trading goods and services by exchanging transactions through the medium of finance. There are three main types of economies in the world viz: Free Market Economy, Command Economy and Mixed Economy. Free Market Economy adopts principles of Capitalism, Command Economy adopts Communism and Socialism, and Mixed Economy adopts both Socialism and Capitalism. Here, in the scale of economy, pure capitalism is called ‘The Right’, pure Communism is called ‘ The Left’ and socialism is called ‘The Mixed’. Countries world over are continuously evolving and adopting different combinations of economic principles to suit their socio-politico requirements. Countries like China and North Korea are more towards the Left, countries like the USA and Italy are more towards the Right, and the countries like India and Russia are at the Center, the Mixed.

(74) As a country of Far-Right Economy, the USA started its political strategy, originally from the famous ‘Declaration of Independence’ statement “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness”. Here, the pursuit of happiness is conceived in the materialistic perspective, that promotes capitalism. Though they were inching slowly, from the far right of the Economy Scale, towards the center, they are still careful enough to stay within the arm of the Right.

(75) Similarly, India having the preamble of the constitution as, ” We the people of Individuals, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic and to secure to all its citizens Justice, social, economic and political, liberty of thought, expression, belief and worship, Equality of status and opportunity, and to promote among them all Fraternity assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation, in our constituent assembly this 26th day of November 1949, do hereby adopt, enact and give to ourselves this constitution”, has already started moving towards the Right from the Center.

(76) Russia, which adopted the ideology of Communism, could sustain it only for about 75 years. It started on the German Philosopher, Karl Marx’s theory, ” The state owns the resources and everyone shares the benefits of labour” and on his revolutionary call against capitalism, ” Workers of the world, unite”, but it had to find an end, within this period and had to move towards Capitalism inevitably. China, on the other hand, had to recently inject some capitalistic relaxations to the existing staunch Communist government, that was established about 70 years ago. Though the country has been growing economically in recent times, it has just started facing Slow Down in the trend. It also faces the issues of corruption in the administration, which require separating the Communist Party from the State and the Judiciary, that in turn demands more transparency. It is to be noted that people’s values will change when they have more income and a higher level of education; they will need more autonomy, more dignity, more freedom and more control over their own lives, that will eventually take them towards more Capitalism and Democracy.

(77) Likewise, we can analyze each country and conclude that the world economy is becoming more capitalistic and moving towards the Right. Moving to ‘The Right’ means, the world population want to be more materialistic or vice versa. That further means, people across the world believe in discriminations and disparities, that is eventually detrimental to peace and harmony of humanity. So, all these economy models, in their original form, would have worked well and stayed as intended to, had the society been non-materialistic. This establishes that the postulates of the Second Faith that make humans realize non-materialism can only provide for the ultimate Freedom of Economy. Yes, be it Capitalism, be it Socialism or be it Communism, only if exercised along with the Second Religion, which establishes non-materialism, humanity will flourish, and peace will prevail.

FREEDOM FROM SOCIAL EVILS:

(78) Social Evils are actions committed by a group within society that is controversial or in conflict with the morality shared within the society. Social evils can also be referred to as harmful things that are practised by people against the very society, they belong to. Common social evils include Poverty, Beggary, Illiteracy, Robbery, Theft, Drug Abuse, Drug Trafficking, Prostitution, Gender Bias, Alcohol Abuse, Cult of Celebrity, Eve Teasing, Organized Crimes, Extremism, Nepotism, Stateism, Terrorism, Immigration and Racism, Unemployment, Decline in Values, Consumerism, Individualism etc. that are prevalent in societies across the world. Dowry, Female Infanticide, Child Marriage, Child Labour, Superstitions, Caste Discriminations etc. are another set of social evils that are prevalent in the societies of different regions of the earth. A host of social crimes like Rape, Murder, Betrayal etc.  can also be included in the list. These social evils, being self-evident and self-explanatory is the direct fall out of social and material discriminations among people and have long been the cause of grave concern for humanity, requiring to be seriously addressed and resolved.

(79) These social evils came into existence in the human society since the time immemorial and have simultaneously been fought with, by the appropriate agencies by their belief and knowledge. Law enforcing agencies like Judiciary, Police and other state-controlled forces have been playing major roles in curbing such social evils. Morality enforcing agencies like various religions of the world, spiritual masters, yoga gurus, faith movements, holy books have also relentlessly preached humanity from different dimensions of the Faith System. But still, there is no decline in social evils.

(80) Socio-politico systems have also attempted to contain social evils. Countries that were successful in obtaining freedom from monarchies have brought new laws and acts so that a better social environment would prevail. Democracies like USA, India and European Nations have enacted their laws and took a series of proactive measures for eradicating social evils, but failed. Countries like Russia, China and Cuba, which have had different combinations of political ideologies viz: Authoritarianism, Communism, Socialism and Capitalism also have attempted to curb social evils through new laws. They also failed. Here one must remember that there was no reduction in the incidences of social crimes even when these countries had Communist model of the economy that practices equality. Thus, in effect, humanity across the globe doesn’t seem to be winning the war against social evils.

(81) It clearly shows that humans can never be made to change by force. Enacting new laws and making the people follow the rule of law alone did not succeed in achieving an evil-free society. Even forced equality among people did not curb evils in society. Spiritual teachings based on the existing Belief System also could not provide the desired results. Yes, in this materialistic era, humans believe in the pleasure of attaining material gains and goes to any extent to achieve them, ignoring all these deterrents. His belief in materialism is like a rock that could not be broken, by any theory that so far evolved in this world. The desperation is so severe that the great scientist, Albert Einstein said in his words, “The world is a dangerous place to live in, not because of the people who are evil but because of the people who don’t do anything about it”. It is where the Second Religion steps in. The postulates of the Second Faith thoroughly demolish the humanity’s belief in materialism. It is only in the era of non-materialistic Second Faith, where there is no craving for or priding about material gains; these social evils can vanish away. Yes, only non-materialism, that unequivocally proves absolute contentment to be true, can show the way for the ‘Freedom from Social Evils’.

FREEDOM AT INDIVIDUAL LEVEL:

(82) An individual is a person who is one among the population of the planet, Earth, which accommodates around 700 crores people now. Almost every individual on earth is affiliated either to one of the systems of believers or to that of nonbelievers. Also, every individual belongs to a nation-state that practices either capitalism, socialism, communism or a combination of these economy-models. But invariably every one in this world would identify himself or herself as a materialist, that is a person of First Religion. In other words, everyone by default is subjected to the problems and hardships that this materialistic world would be posing to him today. Instead of allowing a human to get contented with the attainment of his basic needs that enable him a quality survival, he is induced to pursue other material gains like, wealth, status, beauty, fame etc. unnecessarily.

(83) Being born to a mother, every child starts its life with a clear mind and heart and with a positive instinct of survival. As days pass the child is slowly exposed to a world of a material system that makes him believe that the material life-parameters like, wealth, beauty, knowledge, status, fame etc. are real and are to be acquired by him. He is also exposed to the God-Believing system that his parents have henceforth been practising and to other socio-political systems that are around. Now the question is, are these systems that are put before this clean-slate human being, justifiably genuine and based on truth.

(84) This fundamental question is thoroughly analysed and addressed by the Second Religion through the postulates of the Second Faith. It makes everyone realize that the new-born human being is subjected unnecessarily to the (indirect) means of a material system for achieving the basic objective of survival. It also makes both believers and non-believers of the world, realize the scientific and mathematical truth that, in this world, human’s material gains are always finite and the value of which will always be zero or nothing when compared to their scope, which is infinite. That means one should not crave for and pride about any material things that he comes across in life. It also scientifically and intellectually proves that the god-believing religious systems that strongly support materialism are irrelevant and baseless.

(85) Yes, a Second Religion realized person becomes again like a clean slate child with a pure instinct of quality survival through natural and direct means. For him, quality survival means firstly, to have quality (natural and hygienic) food, secondly to have adequate and environment-friendly clothing, thirdly to have recyclable and eco-friendly shelters and finally and optionally to have a life partner from the ‘No Craving No Priding’ society of humans for enabling love-making and/or procreation. Here procreation becomes an option within the option. The Second Religion realized person is not an exclusivist. He is an inclusivist. He is not utopian. He is not an idealist either. He is pragmatic and practical. He treats everyone next door alike. He doesn’t long for physical beauty. He never prides or egotises about beauty. He doesn’t gaze at the girl on the street with the wrong motive. He can never resort to or think of rape. No adultery in his society. No orphans in his society. He never gets betrayed by others. He never cheats others. He is never sick. He is never hurt. He is the strongest person. He is a beautiful person. Yes, he simply realized the ‘Absolute Truth’ that was unfolding in the Second Faith. He can even accommodate and love every materialist of the First Religion. He is an individual who practices Universal Freedom. Here, ‘he’ means both ‘he and she’.

FREEDOM AT COMMUNITY LEVEL:

(86) Community is a group of people who share something in common. Community is also a collection of individuals who identify themselves in a particular context. Communities have been created in the era of First Religion, wherein not only that individuals are selfish, but groups made up of individuals are also selfish. To safeguard and promote their collective interest, people create communities under different banners. Communities, Movements and Associations are started based on religion, language, caste, region, profession, ideology, race etc. Communities practice an extended form of materialism, that is from individual level to group level. They amass wealth and facilitate for themselves without usually crossing their boundaries. They take pride over their materialistic strength and try to command and exploit the socio-political systems around.

(87) In this materialistic society, communities based on religion, caste and region have sometimes been instrumental for the social evils like hatred, intolerance, terrorism, murder etc. Social behaviours of communities are the direct culmination of individuals’ behaviours, driven by materialism. So, in a society of non-materialistic individuals, the communities or groups formed therein will also be non-materialistic. In a society of Second Religion era, though there is no requirement for any community or group, even the ones that are in existence will be non-materialistic and be spreading ‘No Craving No Priding’ messages across the society. Non-materialism will unfold a peaceful social arena across communities. There will be no racial discrimination and immigration issues. Untouchability and caste disparities will vanish away. Universal two languages policy, that is, ‘One for Mother Tongue and other for Universal Communication’ will prevail everywhere in the world. Inter-caste marriages will no longer be an issue. Territories of states will be scientifically reorganized, notwithstanding language constraints. Urbanization, being direct fallout of materialism will lose its glamour resulting in scattering of people across rural communities, which promotes nature-based living. Faith systems will loose their negative baggage of superstitions and evil practices. Everyone across different communities will be seen as equal and be treated equally. Yes, the realization of Second Religion caters for freedom of humanity in Community-Level too.

FREEDOM AT COUNTRY LEVEL:

(88) A Country is a politically organized body of people under a single government. It is a political entity that maintains sovereignty over its territory and people. Countries have formed basically with people, land and a system of government, to start with. It consists of individuals, communities, sub-states and states. Countries started forming from approximately 5000 years ago, across different regions of the planet earth. As of now, there are around 200 countries that are sovereign and have independent territories.

(89) Originally countries must have formed for safeguarding material interests of their people. To be more analytical, the very formation of countries must have been a fallout of materialism that crept into the society of humans. As has already been explained, materialism came into the society because of its ability to achieving human’s objective of survival which included reproduction, indirectly. Also, the god-believing religious systems that came in, to provide a sort of checking mechanism in the society, has started to acknowledge and give shelter to materialism and thereby found due-prominence in the countries’ internal affairs. There are countries which have adopted their religion as their ‘State Religion’. There are also countries which have Atheism as their state policy. Also, a vast number of countries have adopted Secular Policy so that many religions can coexist without influencing the state-administration. Similarly, as far as economy models of the countries are concerned, the majority of them are Socialists, next comes Capitalists and next comes Communists. In all the above countries, irrespective of having different belief systems and economic models, one thing that is found common is materialism. It is materialism that is responsible for the social evils like, inequality, poverty, corruption, religious conflicts, language issues, unemployment, health-care issues, women’s safety, pollution, defence spending, climate change etc.

(90) Minus materialism, countries would transform into the ‘Second Religion Realized’ (SRR) entities and vice versa. The SRR individuals would make up the SRR community, the SRR communities would make up the SRR state and the SRR states would make up the SRR country, wherein every affair would be based on the ‘No Craving No Priding’ principle. Governments of non-materialistic countries will be nonreligious. Even if there are religions, governments will adopt a true secularist approach towards them. Religious hatred will vanish away since the belief-system itself will start finding its irrelevance. Economy models will start shifting from the ‘Rude Right’ to ‘Loving Right’ in the capitalistic countries, from the ‘Rude Middle’ to  ‘Loving Middle’ in the socialistic countries and from the ‘Rude Left’ to ‘Loving Left’ in the communist countries. Yes, the Second Religion will ultimately end up in transforming all countries towards ‘Loving Left’, where ‘Rude to Love’ means ‘Materialism to Non-materialism’.

(91) In a Second Religion realized scenario, all the remaining country-level issues and problems will also find their logical ends and solutions. For example, issues like, income inequality among people will automatically get resolved in a loving-left oriented economy. Poverty will be alleviated. Religious freedom will be accomplished. Corruption will be eliminated. Education will be made free. Defence spending, being a nonproductive exercise will be drastically reduced or be stopped so that it can be productively used in other areas. By implementing universal two languages policy, ‘One for Mother Tongue and the other for Universal Communication’, Language conflicts will vanish away. Standard of living will be normalized with nature-based “Food- Clothes- Shelter- Optional Lovemaking” policy. Unemployment will find its way out. Issues like Pollution and Climate Change will get resolved. Health care burden will dramatically be reduced due to nature-based living policy. And finally, Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of women’s freedom, ” The day a woman can walk freely at midnight on the roads, that day we can say that India achieved Independence”, will become a reality only in the non-materialistic world of Second Religion.

FREEDOM AT GLOBAL LEVEL:

(92) The globe or the world is the earth with all life on it, including human civilization. Human civilization includes all the nation-states and countries on the planet earth, which consists of further divisions like, federal states, sub-states, communities and individual people. As we have already discussed, this entire present-day set-up of world countries, world civilizations and world community were constructed on the foundation of the belief of humans on materialism. Materialism has become so global that every activity across the world has influence from it. That means materialism by itself, breeds a host of unsolvable issues and problems even in the international or at the global levels.

(93) Humans by birth are like clean slates, with an uncorrupted instinct of survival, which nature is very much ready to be supportive of. It is only the human-made materialism that was unnecessarily injected into their survival program that corrupted and infected their entire life negatively. Also simultaneously emerged a host of spiritual and political agencies for removing and disinfecting the material corruptions from the lives of humans. Still, they became so helpless and ineffective that they not only started acknowledging the material corruptions but became supportive of such infections. Yes, the world’s belief systems through their religious preachings made humanity believe that the Almighty (The God) will enhance one’s material gains if he surrenders before him. But, humanity goes into a trap, overwhelmed with irrecoverable micro-level and macro-level issues and problems, desperately needing an absolute solution based on hard truth. Yes, humanity finds the Second Religion that comes out with postulates of Second Faith.

(94) This can be better presented with a familiar analogy between Computer System and Human Life. Computer hardware (New-born human being) is put to work with its clean system-software (Instinct of survival). Accidentally through some means, it is exposed to a malware (Materialism) infection. The computer starts malfunctioning (Human society suffers from evil doings). Antivirus packages (Religious and Political systems) are loaded into the system for cleansing the virus from the software. Even after trying with a host of enhanced antivirus packages (Evolved Spiritualism and New Ideologies) system continues to malfunction. Over a while, the malware(Materialism) infection has become so severe that the malfunctioning of the system goes from bad to worst (Unresolvable Social Evils and Global Issues). Finally, now, the computer system (Life of Human) is loaded with an all-powerful Antivirus Software Package (The Second Faith of the Second Religion) and put to work. The system starts functioning peacefully to its full capacity and efficiency.

(95) The global community, being Second Religion Realized (SRR), will see sea-changes in different aspects of human life internationally and globally. The pressing global issues like, Over Consumption of Resources, Over Population, Global Inequality, Global Warming and Climate Change, Food and Water Security, Pandemic Diseases, Adventurous Technological Risks etc., that require urgent resolutions by humankind will find their way out in the SRR era.

“No Craving No Priding” and “Nature-based Food -Clothing -Shelter -Optional Love Making” principles of Second Religion can never exploit the earth. Resources are over-consumed only to amass material gains. Non-materialism, by curbing such acts, will naturally find an end to the issue of overconsumption of resources.

One of the simple living principles that emanated from the Second Religion culminates into “Optional Love Making and/or Procreation”. Unlike materialism, where procreation is a material gain, non-materialism will cater to minimum reproductive activities and will yield a minimum population. A human, being born to a mother, becomes a person, full of emotions with conscious and unconscious feelings, by gravitational implications of nature. And having been brought to this world, he must be loved and be respected with full dignity, throughout his life. We can avoid being instrumental in procreating unjustifiably more number of humans, and thereby address the issue of overpopulation.

Global Inequality is referred to as the differences among countries of the world in respect to their Economy, Health Care, Education etc. These inequalities can be attributed to the causes like Country Location(Geography), Population Growth, Colonization, Economy Structure, Wars, Industrialization etc. The attempts of international organizations to reduce the inequalities among countries do not yield favourable results only because of people’s belief in materialism, which promotes disparities. So the issue of Global Inequality also requires the world community to follow the principles of the Second Religion.

Majority of the scientific community is convinced that Global warming, which is responsible for Climate change is mainly human-caused.  Fossil fuel burning, Deforestation, Large scale agricultural farming are some of the human activities that cause excessive greenhouse gas concentration in the atmosphere, which in turn causes global warming. Even such exploitation by humans will drastically come down, once the society across the globe becomes SRR.

Food and Water Security is established when all people, at all times, have physical and economic access to sufficient and safe, nutritious food and hygienic water to meet their needs for an active and healthy life. Food and water are the most primary needs of human, even for his simple way of living. Food and Water Security for the entire world community are quite achievable, had the humans observe non-materialism, as advocated by the Second Faith.

A Pandemic is an epidemic occurring on a large scale that crosses international borders, affecting people worldwide. Pandemic diseases are categorized as Communicable diseases and Non-Communicable diseases. Plague, Cholera, Smallpox and Corona-virus are some of the communicable pandemic diseases that the world has recently seen. Heart diseases, Cancer, Stroke and Diabetes, are examples of noncommunicable pandemic diseases. Studies have clearly shown that Human LifeStyle has a major impact on both of these categories of pandemic diseases. Again, Life Style of a person can be attributed to the materialistic society that he belongs to. That means, ‘Materialism Induced Life Style’ has ruthlessly been the cause of making a section of society more vulnerable and immuno-compromised and thereby succumb to these deadly pandemics. Here, the pity part is, we forced every elderly person to become immuno-compromised by compulsorily offering him a materialistic lifestyle in his entire youth period, though he, as a child came to this world with immense immunity, provided by gravity of nature. Pandemics are thus better handled only by the healthy Life Style of the non-materialistic society of The Second Religion.

Global issues like Artificial Intelligence Risk, Biotechnology Risk, Ecological Collapse Risk, Nanotechnology Risk and Nuclear Holocaust Risk are some of the Adventurous Technological Risks that humanity may encounter in the micro (high) technological areas in this competitive, materialistic world. In this respect, there can always be a global body created by the top echelon of scientists from different parts of the world, that can venture into new areas of research, which can benefit the human society, conforming, at the same time the philosophical concepts of the Second Religion. In the knowledge spectrum of humankind, anything known will be finite and the value of which will be zero (nothing), when compared to the scope (the rest), which will always be infinite. Hence there is never going to be an end, as far as knowledge exploration is concerned. Therefore, it is only the contentment, as advocated by the Second Religion through its postulates of Second Faith, that is going to be the ultimate answer to the Adventurous Technological Risks, faced by humankind globally today.

CLAIM & APPEAL:

  • The First Religion through its First Faith, made humanity believe in material gains like wealth, knowledge, beauty, fame, status etc. that they are real. It also made them believe that the almighty, ‘The God’ will enhance these material gains if humans surrender before Him.
  • Also, the First Religion, through its First Freedom, came out with remedies for the social evils that crept in, due to humans’ unfettered belief in the material gains. Religious rituals, Religious preachings, Sacred(Holy) books, Sermons of gurus, Neo-political ideologies and New Economy models have been brought in to address the social issues but resulted in vain.
  • The Second Religion demolishes these First Religion principles through its Second Faith that comes out with three postulates. One: to realize that material gains were accidental leaps of actions of the humankind while venturing for their survival. Two: to realize that the material gains are finite and the values of which will be zero when compared to their scope, which is infinite. Three: to realize that the God, that is held responsible for the enhancement of human’s material gains is proved, through the new Theory of Everything, irrelevant.
  • The Second Freedom, being the direct consequence of the Second Faith, explains how every aspect of human life is freed from the clutches of materialism and also how the humanity realizes freedom from the individual, community, country and global perspectives. The Second Freedom superimposes the postulates of the Second Faith on the human actions of the present-day materialistic era and finds solutions in today’s context. This will further pave the way, to the non-materialistic era of Second Religion, by enabling smooth transition and upholding the principle of continuity.
  • The Second Religion provides a necessary cushion to this material world of First Religion to absorb the shock it creates on this society. As the ripples of this negative (evil) waves die down, the Second Religion will make the Second Faith to prevail and enable the society to accomplish the Second Freedom.
  • The Second Religion appeals to the Intellectual and Scientific Communities across the world to analyze the truth behind the postulates of the Second Faith. It also appeals to them to make review studies, extrapolations, fact-checks etc. with the existing (present-day) theories, in the relevant fields. It further appeals to them, if they are convinced, to cause to create and join the movement of ‘ The Second Religion’ at once to accomplish the Second Freedom.
  • The Second Religion appeals to the Religious and Spiritual Leaders of the world to open up their minds and intellects. The human can always dwell within the domain of finiteness. For him, reaching out to both ‘The Nothing’ (zero) and ‘The Whole Thing’ (infinity) is never possible. If one (a finite entity) tries to proceed inwardly to Nothing (zero), he tends to become (finite-entity / zero = infinity) the Whole Thing, that is the experiencing of Ecstasy. Similarly, if one tries to proceed outwardly to the Whole Thing (infinity), he tends to become (finite-entity / infinity = zero) the Nothing, that is the realization of Emptiness (Egolessness). In the process of making humanity experience this, all our religious and spiritual ventures have found some relevance or other, creating a host of belief systems across the world for the last few thousand years. They conveniently placed the all-powerful, The God in these non-reachable Limiting Concepts viz: ‘The Zero’ and ‘The Infinity’. Here, the ignorance is, the fantasy of these limiting concepts, that made the present-day belief systems survive, is carrying the baggage of materialism successfully along. The Second Religion presents its postulates of the Second Faith to the conscience of all religious and spiritual communities, across the world and appeal to them that they may consider and practice this as a second (standby) religion now. Let the Second Religion wait until it convinces and takes them along to accomplish the Second Freedom.
  • The Second Religion appeals to the Political and Ideological Leaders of the world, to personally make an analytical study of the Second Faith and to integrate it with their political and ideological principles. If the Second Faith outweighs their present system, immediately without hesitation, they may transform them into a second religion realized system and pursue vigorously further to accomplish the Second Freedom.
  • The Second Religion appeals to the Famous Personalities and Celebrities across the world, to make conscious effort to correlate the Second Faith with their present positions and privileges in the society. If they are convinced that there is truth in the postulates of the Second Faith, they may break the barriers, if any, at once and come out in the open to advocating for accomplishing the Second Freedom.
  • The Second Religion appeals to the Business and Corporate Heads across the world, to analyze the truth behind the theory of the Second Faith and to find out as to how its principles will influence the present-day economy models of the world and the countries of their interest, in particular. They may also question their conscience and find an answer as to whether they can make their organization SRR. If they are convinced, they may start taking steps to transform their organizations SRR and come open to promote the Second Faith that ultimately accomplishes the Second Freedom.
  • The Second Religion appeals to the Presidents and the Prime Ministers of the World Countries to pay special attention to the Second Faith postulates. If they find prima-facie truth in it, they may constitute an expert committee for making a thorough evaluation of the postulates, both politically and scientifically. If the outcome is affirmative, they may start the required political and constitutional processes to transform the whole ruling system of their countries into SRR. This may even lead to a stage when all the countries may unite and form a border-less World Government under the principles of the Second Religion after declaring ‘The Second Freedom’ world over.
  • The Second Religion appeals to the Sisters and Brothers of the world to make a thorough analysis of the Second Faith, to assimilate and debate on it and then to arrive at a conclusion on it. The Second Faith values the equality of humans and their unalienable rights viz: Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness in the ambit of non-materialism, not in the ambit of materialism. The Second Faith values the Big (Fundamental) Rights of humans and their Common Ownership of Command Economy in the ambit of non-materialism, not in the ambit of materialism. And the Second Faith values the constitutional rights of citizens viz: Justice, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity in the ambit of non-materialism, not in the ambit of materialism. Because, in all these cases, as we have been witnessing, materialism played ha-vacs and destroyed the true spirit, intended to. So, be it ‘The Right’, be it ‘The Left’ or be it even ‘The Mixed’, the Second Faith pragmatically suggests everyone on earth today, “To Learn More, To Earn More but To Live Simple” within the ambit of non-materialism, till the world becomes Second Religion Realized (SRR). Here, gaining more from the world implies giving more back to the world eventually. Also, human happiness can be founded only on truth, not on untruth. The Second Religion that brings out the Absolute Truth in the form of the Second Faith, now appeals to the people of the world, to unite against the untruth of materialism and to thereby accomplish ‘The Second Freedom’.

He was born in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India to a farming family, grew up in a village, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at Madurai Kamaraj University, post-graduated with a Master of Science degree in Mathematics at Madras University, qualified for Associate Member of Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers at New Delhi and post-graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree at Madras University.

He, being a mathematician, had fascinations towards the fundamental concepts called, Zero and Infinity since his early college days. He had a strong intuition that the humankind can always dwell in a finite domain and that too in a discrete structure of time and space. This only paved his way for reviewing every physical phenomenon of this universe. Being a technocrat, his tendencies will always be to attribute to a single cause for the multiple effects that may unfold in an environment.

After around twenty years of search and research, he arrived at the conclusion that Gravity is the cause of everything, including the creation of this universe, leaving its origin and end, open-ended in an Absolute Empty Space, which accommodates both the limiting concepts, Zero and Infinity in both Space and Time dimensions.

Coming to the domain of life of the humankind, he concludes that materialism without its due legitimacy found a place in it with the help of a Godly entity, supported again by Zero and Infinity falsely. Here too comes Gravity, to the rescue of the author and resolves all the myths that surround the humanity, leading ultimately to a world of “The Second Religion”. And, it is the first book of the author.
